Prerequisites and Requirements:
- Health and Fitness: Scuba diving requires good health and fitness. Consult a physician for written approval if you have chronic health conditions, take certain medications, or recently had surgery.
- Previous certification: Completion of an Emergency First Response course within the last 24 months or equivalent certification in Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid).
- Minimum age: 12 years (junior) or 15 years (adults).

The PADI Rescue Diver course spans three days of comprehensive training, including new dive theory, scuba rescue skills practice in both shallow and open water, and participation in two emergency scenarios.
