Overview: Unveiling the Depths
Daedalus Reef emerges from the depths, reaching up from about 450 meters below the surface.
Positioned far from other reefs, this isolated beauty stands exposed to the elements, making it a captivating yet challenging dive spot. Stretching 1070 meters in length and 300 meters in width, it offers shelter to divers near the lighthouse piers to the south.
The reef's dimensions, however, don't deter underwater exploration. The promise of encountering sharks, including hammerheads, draws diving enthusiasts despite the considerable size of the reef.

Daedalus Reef emerges approximately 100 km southeast of Marsa Alam, standing as a remote outpost marked by a lighthouse.

Stretching over 1,000 meters in length and 300 meters in width, Daedalus Reef boasts a dramatic underwater landscape.
The northern wall transitions into lagoon-like plateaus, while the southern plateau, at depths of 80 meters and beyond, becomes a stage for encounters with thresher sharks.
